Our full time housekeeper, Nelsida, will cook and serve your meals, snacks and drinks and then whisk away the dirty dishes. She will keep the villa tidy and tend to your laundry. All you do is RELAX. When there are 5 or more guests, we provide a second full time maid to ensure all guests (moms included!) enjoy a truly carefree vacation. Many female guests cry when it is time to leave because they cannot take Nelsida home with them. Julio, our houseman, keeps our tropical gardens, spacious pool, and comfortable home in pristine condition. He provides options services such as: airport transfer service for our guests, intial food set up, on- going food shoppingduring your visit or running errands such as buyinga birthday cake or picking up freshly caught fish at local markets.

We have a local tour representative who can provide advice and booking services for a wide variety of tours and activities: everything from horseback riding to jeep safaris, catamaran trips, scuba diving, white water rafting, deep sea fishing, swimming with dolphins, go kart racing, spa services, golf tennis, and MUCH MORE. This is a wonderful destination for any size group because there is so much to see and do, and everything is so inexpensive. Babysitters for children cost $30 for a full day. Wonderful meals at local restaurants start are $10-15 per entree. The Dominican version of Cheers is just down the street at an oceanfront thatched-roof restaurant called Chris & Madys.

I am Cindy Charters and live in the Boston MA area with my husband and 3 children. I first travelled to the Dominican Republic in 1982 when my parents discovered this untouched paradise. They bought property and immediately started construction of the family vacation villa. I became quickly enchanted with this colorful country and its gracious gentle people. The mixture of the unspoiled tropical beauty and eclectic visions of a society trying to develop into a modern world were endearing.

Who could not love the sight of a frail grandmother in a threadbare dress riding a donkey laden with its wares along the dirt roads of town? Who could not smile at the sight of a lanky young boy clad in oversized shorts strapped to his tiny waist by a rope and clutching a handmade baseball bat made out of a sugar can stalk?

The Dominicans are gentle, inquisitive and respectful. They are hospitable hosts who treat you like a guest in their country. They improvise when facing challenges and are quick to laugh at life's wonders. Their favorite expression is "No Problema".
